Paid Apprenticeships💸

Continuing from my previous newsletter discussing bootcamps versus formal education, let's explore another option: paid apprenticeships. Paid apprenticeships are amazing because they PAY you to learn and unlike internships you don’t need to be currently enrolled in school.

Moreover, paid apprenticeships are known to be more inclusive, because they favor people from non-traditional backgrounds and those looking to transition into new careers.

While apprenticeships are commonly associated with the trades, the tech industry also offers numerous apprenticeship programs to consider.

Unfortunately, most of them are US based, and Canada needs to catch up and add more paid apprenticeships.😒
